History

Fuzzy’s Restaurant is owned and operated by Elaine Tambouridis in the Zestos’ family tradition. Aquired by Elaine’s parents, Eva and John D. Zestos in 2000. Fuzzy’s has been proudly serving Saginaw for 10 years. Under our ownership, Fuzzy’s has expanded and remodeled to accommodate the growing tri-cities area. Elaine is continuing the Zestos family tradition started by her father Johnny. With former Saginaw staples such as Howard Johnsons, Zestos Family Restaurant, Johnny’s Chick-Inn and Bonanza Steakhouse.
In addition to 32 flavors of Mooney’s Ice Cream, Fuzzy’s also is renowned for Johnny’s Famous Rice Pudding, our trademark Folded Sandwiches and our signature Homemade Cinnamon Bread. Fuzzy’s also offers daily dinner specials, all our homemade specialties made from scratch.
From appearing in the movie Street Boss, to being a stop on Vice President Joe Biden’s motorcade, Fuzzy’s has served famous clientele from far and wide: including local sports legends like Jason Richardson, country music star Jason Michael Carol, Michigan politicians such as Brandon Dillon, CBS Early Show new anchor Harry Smith, and even our country’s 44th Vice President Joe Biden.
Through the patronage of our customers like you. Fuzzy’s has become a Saginaw landmark. We look forward to continuing the tradition of excellence moving forward. Come see us again soon!
